Chapter 125 In Need Of An Executioner?

The sun had gone down about a few hours ago. Alexandra now felt more calm as she sat down in the sand with her legs pulled close to her chest, Darius sat beside her and they both continued to stare at the ocean, throwing in small talks here and there and surprisingly laughing to jokes brought up by one another.

It was like they had known each other more than four months, more like old high school class mates that were holding their reunion and the only thing that had been missing in their midst was chilled drinks and snacks to munch on while chatting away.

Alexandra had just finished laughing to one of Darius’s dad jokes that she weirdly found funny when she remember the conversation they had shared while sharing her snacks back at the café close to her company. She didn’t know if it was the right time to speak of it, but was still curios.

“So, how’s that dream of yours coming along?” She asked while tucking her hair behind her ear as the breeze consistently pushed it around.
