I was not expecting Jenny to act that aggressively. I didn’t think she’d just throw the other girl on the road. I stared at Sitara as she lay in the hospital bed, in the special ward dedicated to non-humans.
“You know why she did it?” Alina stared at me and I sighed. I knew she was angry, I could very well see it in her expression.
“Are you going to tell me she did it because she was jealous?” It was a bit hard to take in but no matter how hard I thought about it, I couldn’t come up with any other reason.
