“Gotcha!”
I smiled to myself as I finished taking their pictures together. I was surprised to see Vivienne and Calix enter the restaurant together. I wondered why Vivienne was with Calix. Where is Raylie?
Oh!
I think Raylie is still not done talking to his parents.
“Does Raylie know his girlfriend was flirting with another guy while he was facing difficulties with his parents?” Lalie smirked while watching Vivienne and Calix at their table.
They were with a girl. Must be an elementary student. I don’t know who that girl is but I don’t care. I am more focused on why Vivienne and Calix were eating together.
“She’s such a flirt! I can’t believe this!” Cathy said in disgust.
I smiled wickedly. “Don’t you think it’s t
VivienneRaylie didn’t come to school a week after his last absence. I don’t know why. It's a wash day today but still, it’s important to come to school.Sheena said that Raylie frequently didn’t comes to school way back before I transferred at Brixtons. He was just present if it’s examination week, together with the other Titans. It actually surprised the class that the Titans seldom refused to come to school recently. So, knowing Raylie was absent was definitely not news to them. But still, what is his reason for not coming to school this time? Was he hiding his problems from me?I wasn’t myself the whole day. I felt like a robot doing the same routine. Raylie didn’t message
Vivienne I was near the school gate when I received text messages coming from Sheena. ‘WHERE ARE YOU?’ said the text message. I knotted my forehead. Why would Sheena suddenly text me and ask where am I? Of course I am on my way. I was about to compose my reply but I saw the gate was closing. So, I hurried to the gate first before making my reply. Good thing I entered before it finally closed. Me: ‘I AM AT SCHOOL ALREADY.’ Me: ‘GOOD THING I ENTERED BEFORE IT CLOSED.’ I slept late last night. I kept waiting for Raylie’s call or even a message but he didn’t send me one. I am a bit disappointed but I just told myself to be patient and understanding. My phone beeps again. Sheena: ‘DARN! DON’T GO
Chapter 98VivienneI still decided to come to work after everything that happened today. I can’t let that social media post ruin my life. But even though I tried hard to focus on what I am doing, I can’t. Complaints from the customers from my shift keep coming in. And all I can do is to apologize. I saw Thore at the corner of the dining area, looking at me. His lips were pressed firmly together with the store manager. That only says they were disappointed. And all I can do is to bow down my head in embarrassment. Another customer came and I took his order but I punched the wrong order. The customer yelled at me.“Are you an idiot? How the hell did this store hire such an idiot?&rdq
Thore I sighed as I watched Vivienne. At school, she was being bullied and harassed by a lot of students who saw the post. And of course, lots of them saw it before the IT took down the photos. Yes, I hired an IT master to take down the said post. Yet, it’s too late. A lot of Brixtons students saw it and believed the message of the photo. Even some college students were approaching her and acting cockily towards her. And Raylie didn’t do anything about the situation. He just walked past her whenever they met at the school. And I guess, if it’s not the examination week, Raylie probably would not come to school. And I am starting to feel frustrated. At school, Vivienne dealt with the bullies and at work, she was too preoccupied. I never see her smile at the customer like before. And during her break time she was inside the comfort room, c
Chapter 100 Vivienne I was on my way to the locker room when I felt like something was off. Why does the ambiance seem too silent? Students were looking at me with disgust. Well, it’s been like that since that day the post blasted the whole Brixton social media community. But, it seems their disgust rose extremely high today. I took my uniform from the locker and tried to shrug them off. I declined to join Chelsea and Sheena when they got changed. Actually, I intended to keep my distance from them. I don’t want them to get mocked by being with me. That’s the only thing I can do for my friends now that my reputation is all dirty. I left and was about to go to the changing room when a guy suddenly blocked my way. His face was familiar. I saw him once or maybe twice. O
Vivienne The male students throw me at the ground. I tried to rise to stand up but I just couldn't. My body was too weak to move. I can’t move. All I could do was watch them punching each other until the male students ran away together with that girl. Panting, Raylie came to me and kneeled down beside me. He took my body from the ground. His lips were a little swollen while they were pressed firmly. “I’m sorry.” He whispered, caressing my face and my forehead. There. I can’t stop my tears from bursting. I started to sob. “I didn’t do it. I really don’t.” I cried. “Ssshhh… I believe you. If you said you didn’t, then, you didn’t.” He took me from the ground and carried me. “I am tired and sleepy.” I whispered and closed my eyes.” I don’t know what else happened. I succumbed into slumber. Raylie “How was she?” I asked the doctor who looks for Vivienne’s condit
Chapter 102 Vivienne I heard a light knock on my room. I quickly jumped to my bed, afraid that Vianna would see me. The bruises in my face subsided, thanks to the medicine and cold compress the servants gave me. But I couldn’t gamble to let Vianna see me. I am afraid she might ask what’s going on and Mom will find out. I can’t let Mom worry about me. There’s so much that she was worried about. “Why is your room locked?” “Hey, Vianna, I’m changing to my uniform.” I yelled. “Oh! That’s what I was about to ask. You’re almost late.” “I can manage. Just go first. I’ll lock the door.”
Vivienne It’s break time. Sheena and Chelsea quickly approached me right after our last period in the morning. Raylie went outside of the room while he was on his phone. “Gosh! Your face! Does it hurt?” Sheena asked worriedly. “Of course it hurts! Can’t you see? It’s all bruised.” Chelsea exclaimed. “What did your Mom say about what happened?” “She’s not home.” I said while putting my things inside my bag. “My sister didn’t see my face either. I managed to hide it.” “Why would you hide it?” Chelsea snapped. “You should tell them what’s going on.” “Nah! I don’t want them to worry.” “And they will just be surprised that you’re hospitalized? Is that what you want?” Sheena got frustrated. I sighed. “Those students will get tired of bullying me. I’ll just let it pass.”
