Chapter 100
Vivienne
I was on my way to the locker room when I felt like something was off. Why does the ambiance seem too silent? Students were looking at me with disgust. Well, it’s been like that since that day the post blasted the whole Brixton social media community. But, it seems their disgust rose extremely high today. I took my uniform from the locker and tried to shrug them off. I declined to join Chelsea and Sheena when they got changed. Actually, I intended to keep my distance from them. I don’t want them to get mocked by being with me. That’s the only thing I can do for my friends now that my reputation is all dirty.
I left and was about to go to the changing room when a guy suddenly blocked my way.
His face was familiar. I saw him once or maybe twice. O
Vivienne The male students throw me at the ground. I tried to rise to stand up but I just couldn't. My body was too weak to move. I can’t move. All I could do was watch them punching each other until the male students ran away together with that girl. Panting, Raylie came to me and kneeled down beside me. He took my body from the ground. His lips were a little swollen while they were pressed firmly. “I’m sorry.” He whispered, caressing my face and my forehead. There. I can’t stop my tears from bursting. I started to sob. “I didn’t do it. I really don’t.” I cried. “Ssshhh… I believe you. If you said you didn’t, then, you didn’t.” He took me from the ground and carried me. “I am tired and sleepy.” I whispered and closed my eyes.” I don’t know what else happened. I succumbed into slumber. Raylie “How was she?” I asked the doctor who looks for Vivienne’s condit
Chapter 102 Vivienne I heard a light knock on my room. I quickly jumped to my bed, afraid that Vianna would see me. The bruises in my face subsided, thanks to the medicine and cold compress the servants gave me. But I couldn’t gamble to let Vianna see me. I am afraid she might ask what’s going on and Mom will find out. I can’t let Mom worry about me. There’s so much that she was worried about. “Why is your room locked?” “Hey, Vianna, I’m changing to my uniform.” I yelled. “Oh! That’s what I was about to ask. You’re almost late.” “I can manage. Just go first. I’ll lock the door.”
Vivienne It’s break time. Sheena and Chelsea quickly approached me right after our last period in the morning. Raylie went outside of the room while he was on his phone. “Gosh! Your face! Does it hurt?” Sheena asked worriedly. “Of course it hurts! Can’t you see? It’s all bruised.” Chelsea exclaimed. “What did your Mom say about what happened?” “She’s not home.” I said while putting my things inside my bag. “My sister didn’t see my face either. I managed to hide it.” “Why would you hide it?” Chelsea snapped. “You should tell them what’s going on.” “Nah! I don’t want them to worry.” “And they will just be surprised that you’re hospitalized? Is that what you want?” Sheena got frustrated. I sighed. “Those students will get tired of bullying me. I’ll just let it pass.”
Raylie She’s mad. She’s really mad at me. What should I do? She did not even look back at me. Darn! I was just kidding and I guess she misunderstands. I shouldn’t have tried my luck. Now, I can’t focus on my examination. Damn it! The examination time had ended and I didn't have anything in mind but her, being mad. The recent days have been like hell to me. I thought yesterday was the end of my hell. But what is going on now? The bell rang, and my classmates passed their papers. I don’t know how many questions I confidently answered. I just wanted this day to end. Vivienne rises to her feet just like the other students who were going. I hurriedly went to her and took her paper. I gave it to our professor together with mine. She didn’t say anything and took her bag. She limped to the door and I helped her. She still wasn't say
Szane“Mom, my eighteenth birthday was coming already.”We are currently at the dining table. It’s a rare chance that we eat together. I wonder what’s with them today.Gosh! We were eating together but they were always on their phone and ipad. I rolled my eyes. What’s the sense?“Oh, yeah, sweety. I already asked my secretary to throw a grand party for you.”“Mom, it’s not the party that I want.” I groaned.“Then what? Name it?”“Really? You’re going to give me everything I asked?”“Of course. Just name it.” Mom was saying that while she was scrollt on her phone. I don’t think she was sincere. But anyway, the thing is, she's going to give me everything.“I wanted
VivienneIt’s the night of the party. Raylie picked me up at the expensive salon he rented to accommodate my needs. Well, I don’t need anything to get fixed. A light makeup and slight curls in my hair were just enough. I don’t want anything fancy. But all the simplicity I wanted had been covered with the elegance of the red gown that Raylie bought for me.Even the stilettos stand out. I don’t usually use heels but I guess, the occasion asked for it. I once wished to dress up like how I did before. And I guess, tonight is the best time to do it.“Gosh! Your prince was already waiting for you, Ms. Alfonso. Hurry up!”Suzette called out for me. She’s the one who did my hair and make up.“Thanks for everything, Ms. Suzette.” I said with a wide smile, giving my reflection a final glance.
Vivienne We were starting to enjoy the party when the center stage was suddenly lightened up. The host took the microphone and started the show. He first presented the birthday celebrant, then the parents of Szane. I don’t know what else he was talking about but it seems to me that the party wasn’t all about the birthday celebrant but also the announcement of how their family businesses were going. “Raylie, your Mom asked me to bring you to their table.” Loki said. He just came from somewhere after taking a call. “They were here?” Raylie asked, confused. “You didn’t know?” He threw his head back then turned to me. I don’t know what to say. Raylie took my hand and pulled me to stand up. “Come. I’ll introduce you to my parents.” I started to panic and slipped my hands from his grasp.
Vivienne I was surprised to see that Mom was home when I came. I thought she’ll going to scold me for coming home late but she just asked me if I wanted to drink milk before going upstairs. “Why are you still awake? Were you waiting for me?” I felt guilty about that. I waited for nothing while keeping my Mom awake and waiting for me to come home. I am sure Vianna told her I went to my classmate’s birthday party. Mom gave me a soft smile. “I can’t sleep. That’s it.” Her voice was sad. I went to the counter top and sat across from her. I realized our things were packed. Why did she pack it? “What’s the matter, Mom? Is everything alright?” She smiled at me again. Then her tears rolled down. “We paid for the next month’s rent, right?” I nodded. “Actually, we pa
