Chapter 21
The wind howls, like a beast declaring the ownership of the territory. Stretching my arms upward, the gust of breeze was snapping the entire space, lifting the paving bullets in the air, and hovered around me with a rigid stance raging to penetrate anyone.
They were already running, afraid that death was welcoming them in open arms. Then, I took another step forward, crowding them with the imperceptible force I gathered in a flick.
"She's one of them! A devil in human's clothing!"
"Fuck! Somebody, kill her!"
My rage doubled when that phrase was like a poison held with so much grudge ran through my hearing.
"Yeah? I'm a demon, huh? How about this!"
Like a wave rushing in the surface of the water, the fury of the flying bullets dashes through the flow of the wind towards them.
They kept running but the shots were chasing over them whenever they go. And to those who were stagnant with their pace, the doom was ruffling at them already.
