I had gathered the little things I had together last night and went to class this morning. After my last class ended, Dane picked me up, and we flew back to Beverly Hill to his private cottage in the woods, where he believed I’d be safer and away from the reach of the rebels in his pack.
I did not want to leave the university. My future was at stake, but better my future than my life, and as much as I wanted to grumble, I did as I was told.
There was a Kia motor waiting on our arrival at the airport and Dane gets in after the attendant loaded the car with my bags and for the next two hours we drive to our destination.

Ken drops a big bowl of red meat before Jaclyn as she and Quinton sat at the dining table while he served dinner. Her stomach growled loudly on seeing the delicious-looking stake, and her cheeks heat of embarrassment. After they got in, she had taken a shower and changed into another set of clothes, which was just as big as the grey shirt earlier, leaving her to believe they were Ken’s.
