Wilson's POV

"I still can't believe that bitch slapped me," Bianca puffed in anger as she looked at me "and you just stood there and did nothing about it"

I sighed in exasperation and looked at Bianca, "what exactly did you want me to?. I had everything under control until you came and ruined it. This is all on you," I said coolly.

I was still reeling from the encounter with Vivian. All through our marriage, she'd always been so well tempered and calm and never got angry easily. I frowned. I had just experienced a new side of her that I have never seen before and it greatly surprised me.

Bianca reached out for my hand "you don't understand Wilson, if the scandal goes public my grandfather will be very upset with me," she cried pitifully.

"Why don't you ask your step brother for help," I asked again and she instantly frowned.

"Nathan will never help me besides he hates my guts. He still blames my mother for destroying his parents marriage"

I viewed her suspiciously. I have always felt there was more to the story of why her step brother hates her but that was the least of my problems so I didn't push it.

"I don't know what to do either, Bianca. You know I neither have the power nor the connections to stop the press from running your story. Maybe you can try using your name to stop them"

"No, they won't listen to me. Grandfather and Nathan are the ones with the connections to do that and if I used grandfather's name to stop them and he finds out he will be even more angry with me"

I sighed "maybe the press would focus more on Vivian who slapped you than on you," I suggested with false hope, but that made Bianca perk up with a smile.

"Of course, why didn't I think of that. Vivian is a nobody from a poor family and she is irrelevant. I'm sure they wouldn't pay attention to what she said about the affair," she said,no longer sulking.

Feeling better about the situation she sat back and smiled to herself. One thing that always surprises me about Bianca was how she would always switch up her mood from time to time. It made her very unpredictable and volatile as compared to Vivian who was mild tempered.

I shook myself internally with disgust. Why did I still keep thinking about my soon to be ex wife when I have a gorgeous heiress next to me I couldn't understand. There were both polar opposites of each other both in everything both in looks and in attitude.

Though Bianca didn't admit it when I confronted her about it, I suspected she must have known Vivian would be home early on the day she'd caught us having an affair.

I felt sorry for Vivian but I didn't regret my actions. I was ambitious and wanted to improve my position in life, so was it so wrong of me to use a shortcut to get what I want?. I think not. I was ready to do anything to fulfill my ambitions and Bianca was a way out for me.

Looking out through the car's window I noticed we were not going towards the direction of my house.

"Where are we going?," I asked Bianca as she stared out the car window.

"We are going to see my grandfather. I need you there with me so he wouldn't lose his temper too much at me. We can just reassure him that we're getting married as soon as your divorce is finalized, that should allay his worries"

I looked on deep in thought and didn't say anything but Bianca wasn't done yet. Her brows creased together as she focused on me folding her hand underneath her breast, a questioning look on her face.

"What I don't understand right now is why you still haven't sent out those divorce papers for Vivian to sign. If I didn't know you better I would have thought you were stalling. Make sure you send them out tomorrow morning, the sooner you divorce that bitch and we get married the sooner I become the owner of the company"

"So this is what all this is about. Was that why you were in such a hurry to reveal our affair to Vivian so we could get a divorce. Just because you want the company"

"I had no choice, you promised you were going to divorce Vivian but you kept postponing it. My grandfather has a stipulation that whoever would be the first to get married and have a child while married, between me and my stepbrother will become the owner of the company"

I sat up in surprise. This was news to me.

"Why didn't you tell me about it"

"That's because I couldn't trust you before but now I can that is why I'm telling you now"

She held my hands and pulled me closer, a smug grin on her face. "This would also benefit you too. When I become the sole owner of one of the biggest companies in the world, not only would you own a fifty percent share in it as my husband but I would also help bring wealthy clients to your law firm and before you know it you will be making so much money you wouldn't know what to do with it," she said convincingly.

I tried to hide my excitement but inside I was secretly thrilled. It was beyond what I had ever expected to get from Bianca. A fifty percent share in a company that witnessed profits of billions every year.

What man would pass up on such an opportunity?, and all I needed to do was get married to Bianca and have a child before her step brother beats us to it. My heart thumped in excitement as Bianca gave me a knowing look.

"Now all we have to do is convince grandfather we are madly in love and want to get married as soon as possible," Bianca said coyly.

I nodded in agreement "Don't worry about it. I will finalize the divorce with Vivian as soon as I can," I said loyally, making her grin with happiness "and we can meet your grandfather today and ask for his permission for our marriage”
