Chapter 61 Late Continued

BACK TO WHEN MJ THOUGHT SHE WAS PREGNANT.

Jared and MJ went into their bedroom and shut the door. Jared started taking his shirt off thinking MJ wanted to make love.

“Hold your horses.” MJ said.

“MJ?” Jared asked.

“I went to the pharmacy today to buy something I think I need to take.” MJ said.

Jared sits on the bed. MJ goes to the dresser and gets a test out and sits beside him.

“You’re pregnant? But how?” Jared asked.

“I don’t know, I’m late. But I’ve not taken a test. I wanted to do it with you.” MJ said.

“Shit!!” Jared shouted.

“Look, I know this is the worst timing ever. And I don’t want to be pregnant now. I want to finish my degree. But would it be the worst thing ever?” MJ said.

“We can’t afford a baby, we need to finish our degrees. I’ve got NFL scouts looking at me.” Jared said.
