A Solution

[Tatiana’s POV]

Gasping, I pry my eyes open and find that I’m back in my room in Crystal Fang. Letting out a breath, I sit up and take a look around me while half expecting to find Fernando there, but all I’m met with is empty space and Octavia’s crib.

"Fuck!" I huff, pulling my knees to my chest. “That was too damn close.”

What the hell was I supposed to do now that I knew not only could Fernando infiltrate my thoughts but also my dreams? I got lucky this time around, but what would happen the next and the next? I was like a sitting duck.

“No,” I say slowly, shaking off the sudden sense of doom I felt. “There has to be a way to keep him out.”

There had to be; I just had to figure it out.

Getting up, I check on Octavia, and when I see that she is still fast asleep, I head out in search of Knight. I could only hope that he was done with his meeting with Desmond and actually agreed to what I had planned.

Maybe if I were to enlist the help of a mage, they could give me something to seal
