Chapter 7

**Camilla’s POV:**

I tried to calm my nerves as I was led up a flight of stairs. As soon as I reached the last step, I was blinded by the bright lights outside of the underground cells. I tried to figure out where I was but was only surrounded by tall grasses.

The guard pushed me forward, leading me down a path. It wasn’t long before a large building came into view, and I realized that we were behind their Packhouse.

A chill ran up my spine as we rounded the building to the front. I could feel eyes on me, staring down with disgust, but that was the least of my concerns. I was scared of what lay beyond the door. The double doors were pushed open, and the man holding both of my wrists shoved me forward, making me stumble.

“Move it, mutt!” the man growled behind me. I took a shaky breath. I climbed up another flight of stairs; up here, there wasn’t anyone. The man behind me let go of my hand, and I sighed in relief, rubbing the sore spot on my wrist.
