Casey’s POV

What has gotten into him? Oh you’ve got to be kidding me.

“I’m not riding with him,” I say, but Danny gives me a firm look that told me I would be given absolutely no choice.

“You are, and you will. Theorem here is one of the best trackers other than that…” I shot a look at Danny, causing him to hesitate on what he was going to say.

“Anyway, I think the two of you could get along well together,” Danny beams, nudging me towards Theorem who winks at me with a sly smile plastered on his face.

“Danny, I am not here to find a mate. I have one already, and you are not here to play matchmaker for me,” I linked Danny, who replies with a disapproving look on his face.

“You mean cooking that delicious soup to grab his attention is not part of why you’re here?” Danny raised a brow at me, and I glared at him for saying that out loud, which had Theorem perking up in interest. “I know what you’ve been trying to do, Casey.” He adds, “I am very disappointed in you,”
