CHAPTER FORTY-ONE

Carlos’ POV

My wolf hadn’t stopped pacing since afternoon. Something was wrong. He kept telling me, but I would not believe him.

But as soon as I heard that scream pierce the night air, I knew he was right.

“What the fuck was that?” Danny curses when I passed him. I ignore him, swishing past him and following where my feet wanted me to go.

“What are you doing? Why are you heading over to Casey’s cave?” Danny huffs angrily, I could hear him falling into step behind me.

I don’t answer and instead continue trudging down the path. Danny huffs behind me.

“What the fuck is that?” I hear Danny mutter, more to himself than me.
