CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED-ONE

Logan’s POV:

Cole’s voice broke through the tension in my room, heavy with urgency. “You need to see this.”

I looked up, my jaw clenched, my fist still tightly gripping the crumpled note from Evvie. I could feel my entire body shaking, enraged as it looked for violence.

“What is it?” I demanded, my voice low and dangerous.

He didn’t say anything back, and just handed me a tablet.

The dark expression on his face told me everything I needed to know—this wasn’t going to be good. The moment I took the device from him, my heart started to pound relentlessly.

On the screen, the video started playing. The grainy footage was from one of the hidden cameras we had set up near a blind spot where patrols couldn’t touch. It was a few feet near the border, the line separating my territory from neutral ground.

I felt my brows furrow immediately when I saw the footage.
