Zachary’s POV:

When it was all over, I took one look at my Evvie and the Alpha clutching each other as if their lives depended on it.

I knew I wouldn’t win. Because ever since she met him, I have already lost the battle.

It was obvious with the way they looked at each other, the way the Alpha changed for Evvie, and Evvie for him. I couldn’t deny what I see.

They needed each other, and they were meant to be together more than Evvie was meant for me.

Perhaps the fates were right. Perhaps Logan being her second chance mate was what she needed to move forward.
