CHAPTER 70 - FIGHT TO STAY ALIVE

Avery's POV

“Avery!” I heard a voice call from afar. I had begun to lose a lot of blood and I could hardly speak.

“Maya!” Another voice called, it sounded like Victor and I was trying to respond but Alpha Davis glared at me, warning me not to speak for any reason, if I wanted to survive.

What was the use anyway, I was already dying so it did not matter. I tried to shout but as I opened my eyes no sound came out.

“Maya!” Victor screamed again, he was getting closer and with the much Alpha Davis had done, he was sure we would die, and truly if we had no help would die in a matter of seconds.

Alpha Davis’ basic focus was trying to find a way out but the hideout was on lockdown down and there was no way to escape. When he understood that there was no way he waited patiently for them knowing they would eventually sniff us out.

“Please come quickly, we are in the basement,” I said hoping Alpha Amos would hear my thoughts, he was my mate after all.
