CHAPTER 76 - LEAVING THE PAST BEHIND

Avery's POV

“We are here Ma’am,” the cab driver said to me and I quickly recollected myself and came down from the cab, I gave him his fair and entered the train station, just then a train was leaving for the next state and I was informed that one left every hour until 6 pm.

“Thank you, Sir,” I said to the man I made the inquiry from, I was told how much I needed to get on the train and it was nothing crazy just a few hundred dollars I honestly thought that it would be more considering the distance but that again was one of the reasons I had chosen the train station instead of the airport.

I would have needed enough papers for the airport and I did not even know who I truly was, talk less of having anything more than a regular ID card and even that was because I could not work without one. Secondly, knowing Amos, he would have ransacked the entire city looking for me and put people at the airport in case I wanted to run.
