Chapter Sixteen

Lindsey and I went to their house. It was a two storey house on a private beach in Zambales.

“Nice place.” My eyes roamed around the house.

Lindsey looked stressed already.

“I moved here after I left the group.” She answered.

“And Griffin? Err, I mean Adam. Where did you guys meet?” I asked.

“We met at the orphanage. He was one of my friends when I was still there. You believe in puppy love?” She smiled bitterly. “He was my first love.
