Chapter Forty Seven

"Aren't you saying goodbye to them?" Lindsey asked as she hummed a song to her baby. 

I shook my head and just smiled. 

Jacob fist bumped Carlo and Calvin. Calen was on the side of his girlfriend. He could walk again without the help of anybody. Jacob waved goodbye to my Aunt and Uncle as he entered his car. 

Today is his first day in our company. 

Uncle assigned him as the new acting CEO. 

I am so proud of him. 

"Cindy, you know they will accept you. That's your family." Lindsey said. 

I turned to her. 

"Of course they will. Lindsey my world changed the day I found out that I'm carrying my baby. I need to be selfish for her. She's my world now." I answered and started the engine.
