However, the only thing they found was how she made herself from scratch, and the story about her abusive husband. Instead of reporting controversy, Eva became a hero. Her story became sensationalized, and she became the modern day Joan of Arc.
A lot of people started having interest in her life, but none more than the most famous writer in the country, Alison Walker. She was awarded as a model writer multiple times, and had five out of six of her books were best sellers. She took interest on Eva Vergara's life, and made it her mission to interview her for a book she wanted to right.
"Excuse me, I'm looking for Ms. Eva Vergara." Alison asked the first waiter she saw when she entered the restaurant.
"She's in her office, Ma'am. You can sit on one of the vacant tables while I call her." The waiter responded.
