CHAPTER 94

Fiona's POV

I let out a low groan as I tried to stand up on my own. However, I ended falling against the bed and hurriedly wiped away curious lone tears that dropped down my face.

"This is not the time for tears." I mumbled to myself as I wiped the few other droplet of tears.

To be honest, I was still in disbelief that Houston could do something like this... To keep me like this... To make sure to put me in a state that I had to use crutches.

I was baffled. This was a nightmare.

He kept talking about love, it irked me.

I sighed deeply and managed to raised myself to sit comfortably on the bed but just I let out a deep sigh to loosen my heavy chest, the door flung open and he swayed in precariously.

Was it too bad to pray that he should fall and smash his head in the process? /

I gripped the bedsheet protectively and glared at him murderously.

"So cute." He chuckled, a low sound that sent my hair standing on the end.

"Now now, who do we have here?" He peered down at me.
