Fiona's POV

The confusion was pushed to the back of my mind as I continued to watch the movie. It was so unlike of Aidan to be abrupt and vague.

But I did not want to doubt him, because doubting him will only lead to question that'll probably do us no good.

I glanced at the table, reaching for the punch. Gosh, the hot buns has been wobbled down by someone.

I fluffed the pillows and placed it behind me, resting my back on it. The sound of my phone ringing filled the whole room and startled me out of my wits.

I picked it up beside me and glanced at the screen to see who the caller was.

My eyes bulged out to an impossible the degree and my jaw fell slack. My heart took on a race and begin to pound painfully in my chest.

Houston?? Was that really him? For a minute I thought I was actually dreaming.

"Hello?" I said in a small voice. I don't want to hope, I don't want to hope.

"Fiona? How are you?" His voice boomed from the phone.
