A harmonious dinner

Andrew's POV

I was deep into the paperwork scattered across my study when a soft knock interrupted my thoughts. Sheila walked in, her eyes sparkling with excitement. Before I could ask what was up, she beat me to it.

"Your grandparents just invited me to spend the weekend with them," she announced with a hint of a smile.

I groaned, leaning back in my chair. "This will be the third time they’ve done that. What’s going on? Why are they always inviting you over every weekend? If care is not taken, they would extend it to everyday. Did you slip them a love potion or something? "

Sheila giggled, shrugging playfully. "Maybe I did." Then she proceeded to mutter some gibberish words, her hands waving in the air as if she was casting a spell.

“I think it's time to cast that same spell on you, Andrew Walker,” she said with a deep, fake voice and then blew an imaginary potion at me.
