Sheila's POV

I slowly walked around the living room, the phone pressed against my ear as Andrew’s grandmother’s warm voice filled the line. I could almost see her sitting in her favorite chair, a gentle smile on her face as she spoke.

“Sheila, my dear, I just spoke to a very good friend of mine who happens to be one of the best event planners in the country. She'll be coming with her group of experts to help you plan the company gala so you won't have to stress yourself too much.” she said. “You’ll be in charge of managing them, and they’ll take care of the rest.”

I hesitated, my fingers tracing the edge of the couch as I sat on it. “Grandma, I’m not sure I’m the right person for this. It’s such a huge responsibility, and I’ve never done anything like this before. What if I make a mistake? What if I screw things up? I wouldn't want to disappoint you and Grandpa.”
