Now, I will have to fight against Isabella Berry Scott just because of a man. Who would have thought I would meet a billionaire's daughter one day? 

When she said Derrik was her fiance, I was shocked. If that was the case, why does Derrik need me for a contract marriage? But on a second thought, I knew he was about to be forced to get married to a woman he can't stand. 

Staying your whole life with someone you do not love can be complicated. It's not like I have experienced it but from others' experience, it isn't a good choice. 

I was in a cab going back to the office after Isabella had driven away. She was indeed a beautiful lady, but she doesn't look too generous. 

When I finally thought I had everything under control, Isabella appeared out of nowhere and now, I know she wouldn't let me be. 

Getting out of the cab, I felt the cool breeze on my skin and that was a lot to help clear my mind. 

The sight I saw in the office left me shocked. Isabella stood inside as if waiting for someone. 

Does she know I work here? Did she come to look for me? I'm not sure she knows I work for him. Although I go to places with Mr. King, I am never in the media with him, like duh, who will take a picture with his personal assistant. For what? 

I had to find a way to escape before she saw me. In my attempt to turn away, she suddenly called out. 

“Hey, you! ” She called as I pointed my fingers to myself trying to cover my face with my hair. 

“Where is your boss?” She asked as she drew closer. 

From the question, she is here to see Derrik and has not recognized me yet. Why did she not ask the other workers? Why me? Oh God… what if she recognizes me? 

“Are you deaf? Where is your boss? Answer me now!!”

I cleared my throat and made to speak when Rosie came from nowhere to interrupt. 

“Andrea, why are you late?”

Shoot.. Is this girl some kind of witch sent to destroy me? 

Thankfully, Isabella forgot I was still here when she saw Rosie. 

“Oh..Miss Scott, you are here? Do you want to see the boss?” She asked as she faked a smile. That girl can never be real in her entire life. 

“Yes, where is he?” Isabella asked nonchalant. Are all rich people arrogant? It's so sickening. 

“ He should be here any moment from now, Miss Scott. You can wait in his office.”

And there is Rosie doing my job, but for once, I am grateful she was interfering. This was my cue to leave. I can't stand here any longer, she might recognize me if I do. 

Silently, I moved away from the two of them and just when I thought I had finally escaped, Isabella called once again. 

“Stand there!!” She shouted. 

I stood immediately but with fear she might recognize me. 

“Why are you hiding your face? Let me see your face.”

My eyes widened when I heard her request. If she sees my face, she will recognize me as Derrik's fiancee. 

What should I do? What should I do? 

“Andrea, turn around for Miss Isabella to see you. It's not like you are beautiful, duh.”

That witch.. I will definitely strangle her when next I get the chance. 

Before I could do anything, Rosie held me and forcibly turned me. I stood face to face with Isabella now. Her eyes widened and I assumed she remembered me. I'm really doomed. 

“You!!!”

Okay shoot!!! 

She moved closer to me as she watched me intently, her eyes not leaving my face. 

“You are the b*tch trying to steal my man!!” 

Okay, I think she is going crazy. Why is she shouting? I could see other workers had begun appearing to witness the scene unfold. She is going to disgrace me now. 

“Why are you not talking huh? Cat got your tongue? Oh..so you came here to see Derrik after humiliating me in that restaurant right?”

“I think you are mistaking Miss Isabella. This is Andrea, Mr. King's secretary.”

Who asked Rosie to talk? Does she have to interfere in everything? 

I looked at Rosie with looks that could kill her in a second. As if she understood, she moved away silently. 

“You think you can take my man and get away with it? No way!! I will make sure you suffer.”

At that moment, I felt a sting on my face and held my cheeks. She slapped me. I was sure my eyes were all red and teary now. 

While I was still in shock, I heard Mr. King's voice. 

“Everybody get to work now!”

He shouted as they all rushed to their various positions. 

“What do you want here Isabella? I thought I told you to stay clear of my business.”

He said when he walked over to Isabella and I. He looked so angry and I don't know why. Could it be because he witnessed the slap? 

Isabella kept on talking about how she was supposed to marry him and not me. 

“Are you not ashamed of creating a scene here? For God sake! You are Isabella Berry Scott and when this gets to the news, your family's name will be tarnished.”

“I don't care about that,you are mine and mine alone. I will not allow anybody to take you away from me.” She said as she walked towards me attempting another slap. 

I was ready to feel the pain again but unfortunately nothing came. I opened my eyes to see Isabella's hand mid-air. 

His next words caused a chill down my spine. 

“Don't you dare touch my woman!”

His woman? I looked at him and saw the shock on his face as well but he covered it immediately with an unreadable expression. 

“This is the last time I will say this Isabella, stay clear of my business. I won't say it again. ”

He held my hand and took me to his office, leaving Isabella standing in shock.
