Dim light filled the room. A girl who woke up from her stupor slowly opened her eyes. Selena, who was tied to a wooden chair blinked her eyes to focus her blurry vision. And her face slowly lifted up to recognize the place she felt unfamiliar with.
"Are you awake, Selena?" The heavy male voice made Selena, who was still limp, turn her head slowly towards the man. And found his form enjoying a cup of coffee. Selena hissed softly, feeling her whole body aching. She cast her eyes around the room again. "Where is this?" she asked in a weak voice, barely audible at all. "In the interrogation room in my mansion. I'm sorry the light is dim, because I like it not too bright for people like you." Selena hissed softly and straightened her shoulders. She looked very pale and unhealthy at the moment. Not to mention, this place didn't seem to have any sun at all so it was cold with humidity. "Who are you? Why did you kidnap me?" Selena struggled to ask. "I'm Damian, hello there." The man chuckled softly, playing up his answer a little. "I have no money, and no one will ransom me. You kidnapped the wrong girl," Selena said as she leaned back against the chair limply, her head feeling heavy and dizzy. "Not really. I kidnapped the right person." Damian shook his head slowly and watched Selena who was so weak, he looked at her with disgust and sadness. Selena frowned, not understanding what Damian was talking about. She really didn't have a large sum of money to redeem herself. And there was no one who would redeem her either. She had no family, and her boyfriend had left her for dead. She was a single girl struggling to survive on her own. And now she's being kidnapped by an unknown person out of the blue. Probably to be enslaved or trafficked. Because seeing how this man didn't seem like a good person. "What do you want from me?" Selena asked as she looked at him, her breathing sounding a little heavy. "I want to take you captive to lure your boyfriend's whereabouts," Damian replied. "Boyfriend? You mean Axel? Ah, he's not my boyfriend anymore. He wouldn't be interested in what I'm doing, where I am, what I'm doing, what condition I'm in, everything," Selena replied. "Oh, yeah?" Damian tugged at the corner of his lips, he couldn't believe what Selena was saying. Selena closed her eyes for a moment. Her neck was sore, her head was spinning and her body was aching. Damian got up from his seat and approached Selena. The sound of his steps was firm and echoed in the closed room. He touched Selena's jawline and lifted her face up to look at him. And he took his phone out of his pocket, taking a picture of Selena looking up at him. He ignored what Selena had said earlier, about her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend. "Did you get the briefing for this? To stay away from each other, to take care of yourself, to cover up the weakness inside him. You... are his weakness." Damian smiled and put his cell phone back in his pocket. After taking a picture of Selena's face, the one in his hand was thrown away so lightly. Selena turned her head the other way because of it. Selena raised her face again and looked at Damian. "What do you mean, why am I his weakness?" Selena wrinkled her forehead. "Because you're his favorite person," Damian replied. "I'm telling you, okay. I'm no longer his favorite person, and that's highly unlikely. He and I have no relationship whatsoever. So it's pointless for you to kidnap me," Selena denied. Selena denied it, she was a little upset that having just broken up with her boyfriend for a few days, she had to get involved with someone else because of a past relationship. What's more, this man in front of her is not a random person when it comes to kidnapping. Plus the reason for the kidnapping, he was doing this for a reason, meaning he had a purpose. "Don't try to fool me!" Damian emphasized in a rather low voice. "I'm not lying. I really did. Your attempt to kidnap me was just to get my ex's attention, right? I'm no longer in a relationship with him. It makes me hate him, why would I get involved in something I don't even know what it is?!" Selena snarled. Damian tugged at one corner of his lips. His eyes darkened as Selena spoke the words, because what he saw was a lie. "I'm never wrong, girl!" said Damian, emphasizing his sentence. "Oh, yeah? Then this time you're wrong, admit it!" retorted Selena raising her voice. "Let go of me now! I'm no longer related to him, dammit! He's-" Without listening to her anymore, Damian immediately put his hand around Selena's neck, making Selena look up and feel a pressure that hurt her throat. It was painful and excruciating. Damian's hand pressed down, causing her airway to close as well. "Khh... khh..." A snoring sound came out of Selena's mouth. Damian calmly took out his cell phone again with his other hand. And he again photographed Selena who was on the verge of death if Damian continued to close her trachea, resulting in a reduced oxygen supply to the lungs. This would lead to death in the near future. After being satisfied with the results of his photo, Damian pulled his hand away and smiled at Selena's interest who immediately coughed. Her cough sounded dry and also very painful. Her breath was instantly taken in gasps, scooping up the oxygen around her. "Taking a breath already? Air is too precious for a weakling like you." Damian chuckled as he bent his body to look at Selena. Selena looked back at him with an angry look on her face. She coughed again. Her throat felt very uncomfortable now. She needed water. "I... I need water," she said with difficulty. "Ah, water?" Damian walked away, and grabbed a glass of water. He returned and offered it to Selena. Selena brought her lips to the glass, she wanted to reach for it, her bound hands were useless as usual. "You can't drink like how I drink." Damian then poured the water in the glass over Selena's head, pouring a little to show how he would give her a drink. Selena widened her eyes, her head feeling wet now. Selena's gaze looked darkly at Damian. Not liking Selena's gaze, Damian immediately grabbed her jaw to make Selena throw her head back. "You don't want to drink? Do as I say!" commanded Damian. Selena opened her mouth, she needed that water. And Damian poured it with a smirk on his lips. Selena tried to drink, she stared at the glass, trying to see when the water would run out. And as soon as the last drop entered her mouth, Selena closed her mouth. Damian laughed with satisfaction as the water soaked Selena's shirt as well. And unexpectedly, Selena spit out the water that was in her mouth, the water that she had deliberately left to spit out on Damian. As soon as Selena spurted the water in her mouth at Damian, Selena smiled with satisfaction. She loved the reaction of how Damian immediately turned his drenched face away. Although her smile disappeared as soon as Damian threw the glass in his hand in a random direction and swung his leg to kick her shoulder with force. The chair he was sitting on was unable to keep Selena from falling after getting kicked in the shoulder. The chair fell along with Selena. Selena's head hit the floor quite hard, making her hearing ring for a while and dizzy. Damian looked angrily at Selena, the girl had the audacity to spray water in his face because she didn't know who she was dealing with at the moment. And Damian's actions this time were aimed at showing Selena his ability, showing the power he had. "Fool, you're messing with the wrong person, and I want you to know that." Damian took out a handkerchief from under his coat and wiped his wet face. He looked down at the helpless Selena, tied to
Merry sounded angry when one of them tried to provoke her. The reason was, she herself did feel rivaled as soon as she heard of the arrival of a girl in the empty room next door. She didn't see her directly, but the words of the other women managed to upset her because of the way they talked about the new girl. Damian glanced at the angry Merry. And instantly, his desire for Merry tonight just faded away. Damian's moods were volatile, he was sensitive. And he was the laziest to deal with his angry or sulking woman. "I don't want you anymore for tonight. Rose, go to your room!" Damian stared at the woman who was arguably the quietest among the others, who had finished her meal and was closing the dinner with dessert. While the others were busy looking at Damian, Rose was still thinking about her own stomach. And for Damian, a woman on a full stomach was the calmest woman. He had learned enough about women in the 28 years he had been alive. And Damian's words managed to make Merry a
"What the hell? Let me go!" said Selena as she rebelled. Several of Damian's subordinates now dragged her up from the bed and unfastened the chain that cuffed one of Selena's hands. Then two of them grabbed Selena's arms and pulled her out of the room. It was obvious that Selena was rebelling from the way she held her legs and tried to hold herself up as her arms were pulled quite roughly. She was dragged quite roughly like that to the outside of her room. In the midst of Selena's rebellion, her eyes kept stealing glances at the rather luxurious section outside her cozy room. The corridor looked clean, neat and beautiful. Selena was forced to keep walking. Until she was confronted by Damian's six women. Selena frowned as she stared at the six strange women in her head. And the six women were staring at Selena with a look that Selena couldn't interpret. Merry's eyes were fixed on Selena. The young girl she thought would unseat her. But it seemed Damian's words were very believable,
"Enough! Stop, please... It hurts..." Selena groaned and hissed softly, watching as her foot that was being held to keep her from rebelling began to turn red. Her skin was further damaged as melted wax dripped down her foot after the hardened wax was periodically removed. Damian was enjoying it, he was waiting for Selena to say something related to her boyfriend directly. "I don't know anything, really. I don't know if he stole anything from you. I don't know what he stole either." Selena stared at Damian, begging him to stop. For the umpteenth time, the wax that had hardened on Selena's foot was taken away again. She could see how her skin was reddened with burns there. The longer it went on, the more sensitive her skin became and the more it tormented her. Damian again tilted the candle to get another drop. "I won't stop until you say something other than your denial." Selena stared at the candle that started dripping again. And as soon as the hot waxy liquid hit the skin of he
"But that's not fair! I told you everything I could!" snapped Selena."All I saw was the result, not the effort. Take her back to her room!" Damian seemed to be heading straight for the location Selena had told him about. And Selena was approached by a man who immediately carried her body, because Selena's foot were not in good condition. Selena looked at Damian with a worried look, it seemed that she was starting to get nervous about her existence in Damian's mansion. Selena was locked up in a room that was quite comfortable. However, the thought of what Damian would do next still made her uncomfortable. She noticed her foot, which were in a bit of a bad condition. It was very sore when exposed to water. "I have to get out of here. That crazy man can continue to torment me." Selena grew restless and looked out the window, where the spacious mansion also looked unguarded. Selena walked out of her room cautiously. Prayer realized the place was quite deserted.
Selena turned to Damian and showed her surprised expression. And behind her, there were now many men who looked surprised by Selena's presence as well. It made them look pale as they were unaware of Selena's presence around the main door, which would get them in trouble for being caught off guard watching the inside of the mansion. Damian himself now showed no expression of pleasure or annoyance. His face was flat and he waited for Selena to explain the situation. He stepped closer and glanced at his subordinates who were behind Selena. "Why are you here? You know, this is quite far from your room. And, how did you get here without anyone noticing?" Damian looked closely at Selena. "Euh..." Selena became a little nervous, after all, before getting here, she had gotten help from one of Damian's subordinates who inexplicably helped her. "What were you guys doing that you didn't realize she was already here?" Damian looked at his subordinates. "So what if I int
"Touching me? Hey, you can't be crazy!" Selena's voice sounded choked. Damian chuckled in amusement at Selena's reaction. In his light eyes, Selena's reaction was enough to provoke him, to do something further. "Why? Are you afraid? Are you afraid to betray Axel? I'm very curious how angry Axel would be if he knew I touched you. In my plan and my estimation, if I send him even the slightest footage of you and me... making love, he'll definitely give me the reaction I want. You are precious in his eyes, Selena. Like I value what he stole." Damian chuckled in satisfaction as he took off the suit he was wearing. And that made Selena inch backwards to get away from Damian. Selena knew full well what Damian would do. Fear filled her heart. It wasn't about betraying Axel like Damian thought. Although he had thought about it too, maybe Axel had appreciated her all along. That's what scared him. Axel, his first and last ex, he hated him. "Can't you think of the wors
Fresh blood flowed and even dripped onto the ivory-white sheets. Selena's sobs were so loud, they could probably be heard outside. It seemed to hurt Selena a lot, because it was Selena's first. Damian's face was frozen. He couldn't give a calm expression to the situation. He just realized what he did a few seconds ago that resulted in Selena squealing and crying at this moment. The girl stopped struggling, seemingly in so much pain that she didn't want to move. Damian's hand that crossed Selena's slowly loosened. Damian straightened his body and confirmed it once more. After looking at her for the second time, Damian's hand swept to one side of her hair. Sweeping her hair smoothly and pulling it slightly. "Ah, what is this..." Damian spoke in a low voice. All Damian could think about now was the new feeling he had when he was about to unite with Selena. Selena had never done that union at all. Unlike the women who were Damian's mistresses, all of them were experi
"Didn't I warn you not to play with my future daughter-in-law and grandchild? I don't understand why you're brave enough to take such a risk." Hendry took a drag on his cigarette while holding the cell phone to his ear. He was in the middle of contacting Derek when he heard that Selena had been kidnapped from his son. ["What do you mean, Mr. Sagaras? I've clearly agreed to your words, in exchange for her not using my family's name and you not dragging in my family who have nothing to do with your future daughter-in-law."]"But what I heard today from my son is different. Selena was kidnapped by your wife." Hendry sighed, he was also trying to remain relaxed in the face of this and believed that everything would work out fine if everything was done casually and carefully. ["Selena was kidnapped... by my wife?"]["Look, I don't understand what you mean. My wife knows absolutely nothing about Selena. And she should. I wanted my family not to hear anything ab
"What kind of atmosphere is this?" Damian got goosebumps after hearing what his father said. "Be direct and upfront. Do you know who's behind this? What you just said suggests that you really do know who's behind this."["Of course. Who else if not the Raguano family?"]"But how did they find out about Selena? I never even intentionally-"["I was the one who told Selena's father about Selena's whereabouts. Before coming to you, I naturally found out who the girl was. And it was quite surprising to find out that she was Derek's daughter. It's just that I was certainly confused about his unknown daughter. Finally, I and I talked for a while on the phone about Selena."] "How could you-"["Wait a minute. You should listen to me first. I warned Derek. I'm going to make Selena my daughter-in-law, I told him. So, he shouldn't try to bother Selena at all. I also promised to keep his family's good name as long as he keeps quiet. Most likely, Mrs. Raguano knew this too. T
["She was here earlier. She said she was going to look around the front near the main door. I meant it, she was with me earlier. I just left her for a while to do a transaction. It really doesn't make sense for her to run away."]Grace gripped her front hair in frustration at not finding Selena with her. She had no idea where Selena had gone. And all she could think about now was how she should deal with this situation. Meanwhile, Luca, who was being contacted by Grace now in a panic, rushed out of the store with Damian. Damian didn't look panicked, he just looked annoyed and angry at the moment. "You just ask the people at the boutique to check the CCTV and tell me which way Selena went," Luca said. "So she ran off after everything she told me? She played me? I won't let you get away, Selena." Damian clenched his fists at the sides of his shoulders. ["I've asked them to check the CCTV and they've given me permission. In a moment, they're checking it."]L
"Huh... always me." Grace sighed as she accompanied Selena to her room. "If you don't want to, that's fine. You just have to say it. I don't want to. That's it." Selena looked at Grace, she could understand that Grace might be sick of being with her all the time. "It's not like that. It's not that I don't want to." Grace was a little panicked that Selena thought so. "It's just... no. It's impossible to refuse his orders. But I'm happy to be able to take a walk with you even if I have to go to the hospital again later. Today, I'm allowed to take you out and drive." Grace looked excited today. Because she would be out with Selena all day. Selena was also surprised that Damian would let her go out for a walk just like that. It made her think about what Damian had said about who she would meet tonight and eat with. "He's going out to dinner with a girl. I think that's why he let me out. Probably so I wouldn't get upset or jealous. But does he really think about my fe
Selena whimpered softly as Damian bit her shoulder. Then, Damian's lips brushed her collarbone, until Damian's face was on Selena's nape at this moment. The man sniffed Selena's neck, and kissed her as if it was a sign of apology after biting her shoulder. "Sorry, next time I won't talk about Axel anymore." Selena understood what Damian wanted. Damian only cleared his throat in response. But for now he wouldn't just let Selena go. He bit lightly on the skin of Selena's neck, which made Selena have to squeal softly. After a few bites, Damian sucks on the skin of Selena's neck in several spots. Sucking long enough to leave red marks that wouldn't disappear overnight. His hands don't stay still, Damian's hands explore Selena's body. Damian's breathing was labored, his voice getting lower as well. While Selena squirmed under Damian's body. She didn't resist. Damian's touch was much more but than she remembered, she had no reason to resist. After all, Damian had also b
"You can cancel the reservation, why are you confused?" Luca asked. "I can't just cancel it. Even if I don't feel well, we'll still have dinner there. Did you forget that we have to go to Beijing tomorrow?" Damian looked at Luca. "Of course I remembered. I remember your schedule better than you do," Luca replies. "We're going to stay a few days in Beijing. And it feels like, if I just leave... Ugh, how to explain that?" Damian holds his forehead, one hand resting on his waist. Luca widened his eyes and chuckled softly. He understood why Damian insisted on coming to the restaurant. The guy was even willing to push himself like that for a girl. Normally, he wouldn't bother with something like this. While the two of them were still in Damian's workroom in the mansion, and Damian also had to check a few things because he had not been actively working all day. There were also some documents that he had to double-check. It made him have to be active at night.
Alice Raguano laughed at the words of the woman who insisted on seeing her with the lure of a big piece of information. She laughed with amusement at this. "Who else would use the name Raguano besides our family members?" she replied while laughing softly with amusement, although there was a momentary anxiety in her heart.Meanwhile, the butler took something out of his bag and handed her a photo. An old photo of Selena taken when Damian was stalking her before kidnapping her. A photo that was enough to illustrate the answer to Alice's question just now. Alice was still smiling before taking a good look at the photo. She accepted it casually and looked at the photo. Her face had not changed at all as she stared at the photo. "Oh my, what is this?" Alice stared at the photo for a long time, her forehead furrowed as she felt familiar with the photo. Then, Alice stared at the butler for a while with a changed look on her face. She then stared at the photo and gr
"Selena was not raised by her mother. I found her name on the orphanage list." The young man serving Derek handed over his tab. Where he had gathered everything he could about Selena. Some of the information he had gotten seemed very useful to Derek. What's more when Derek received the tab and saw the figure of little Selena among some of the other orphanage children. Which made him a little teary-eyed as soon as he saw her. "Orphanage, huh?" muttered Derek as he zoomed in on the photo of Selena. The young man had already improved the quality of the photo, which made it possible that when enlarged, it wouldn't be so blurry. And so it proved with Derek now letting out a long sigh, being able to clearly see little Selena, who quite resembled his daughter as a child as well. "She seemed to have just cried then." Derek looked at her compassionately. "That photo was taken after about a week of Selena's admission to the orphanage. It seems that life at the orphana
Damian held his forehead, now his head was hurting too. Today he couldn't move at all. His body condition worsened after he contracted Selena's morning sickness. The feeling of vomiting was still there in his chest, but he really didn't want to let it out. "If you hold it in, your body won't feel good at all," Luca said. Selena giggled as she applied a fever-reducing plaster as Damian's temperature rose. She was doing fine, and felt better when Damian wasn't. This was the first time Selena had seen Damian sick, where he looked so helpless. "I hate taking it out. If I take it out, it won't be one time. There would be several more waves. Then, a few minutes apart, it would come again. I hate that feeling." Damian lay on his bed, paler because he didn't want to eat anything. "Yes, that's what generally happens. But it will actually make you better. It's a sign that there's still a lot your stomach can't digest. If you get it all out, your stomach will be empty and m
