After what happened five years ago, Agatha Tatiana finally had the courage to go back to her hometown, Pampanga. The nightmares she tried burying six feet under came back, adding to her struggles. She tried hard to fight it and to forget her past, but her scars reminded her of everything. She covered it up and hid it, not until she met him, a light-hearted person who gave her butterflies. CHAPTER ONE: SHE’S BACK

“Ladies and gentlemen, we have been cleared to land at Xander International Airport. Please make sure, for one last time, that your seat belt is securely fastened. The flight attendants are currently passing around the cabin to make a final compliance check and pick up any remaining cups and glasses. Thank you.” I quickly wore my sunglasses upon hearing the announcement. I looked at the window beside me and inhaled deeply as I began to tremble while examining the view of Pampanga. After five years, it is still the same. “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Xander International Airport!” Finally, the almost seven-hour flight from Australia to the Philippines is over. I sighed to myself and grabbed my purse. When I was all set, I got off the plane with the other passengers. I was welcomed by the gloomy sky and the cold breeze of the night. Good thing I wore my coat.

CHAPTER TWO: THE NIGHTMARE BEGINS

I woke up gasping for air as I screamed at the top of my lungs. Damn it! Since yesterday, after we met, I started having nightmares again. Damn him! Why do I have to meet him again? Why can't he just leave me alone?       I decided to start my day. It's already five in the morning so there’s still time to take a walk. I need some air.        I put on my sports bra and leggings, and put my playlist in the shuffle. Since I came back here, I never went outside—except if it's important, of course. I'm scared that our paths might cross again... I’m still not healed. Though… Pampanga isn't that wide so there’s a big possibility that we would meet. But as much as I can, I will avoid that to happen.       Running around the park felt as If I never left. Pampanga stayed the same and I’m not sure if it’s a good thing or a bad…

CHAPTER THREE: THEY MET

The white-painted ceilings greeted me as I opened my eyes. I was brought to the hospital. The nurse who assisted me said that I've been sleeping for ten hours, and mentioned that someone sent me here at three-thirty in the morning but he didn't say who he is so they assumed that he's my boyfriend. So the intruder was a man?   I'm not that severely injured so the doctor said that I can go home if I want to. I felt hesitant but I have nowhere else to go but my unit. I don't want to go back to the casa either.    The trauma I got from what happened last night still makes me flinch now and then. I already told the condominium management about what had happened and requested tighter security for it to happen again.    I took a bath, hoping to get my mind off of what happened but to no avail. I decided to lie on my bed and continue my rest

CHAPTER FOUR: DROWNING THOUGHTS

I woke earlier than usual because Jill said that he would fetch me here. He also invited Moli so that the three of us could bond together. I took a half bath because it's just three o'clock in the morning, and the water is cold. I wore short shorts and a hoodie because it's cold outside.   The drive took what felt like 6 hours and saw Moli waiting for us at the entrance. She's wearing a sleeveless yellow dress that was covered with a blazer. She looked up when she felt our stares at her and jumped excitedly as she walked towards us. She's smiling from ear to ear and her eyes are glistening with happiness. I smiled back and we hugged each other.   “Oh, my gosh! I can't believe that you’re back!” she beamed. She eyed me from head to toe and pinched me in the cheeks. “Gosh! You're really real!”   I chuckled, “Of

CHAPTER FIVE: SHE MET HIM

I woke up in my hotel room. I don't know how. I thought I was dead. I stood up and went to the bathroom to take a bath.     As the shower water fell from my hair, all my thoughts were also washed away. I looked into the bathtub and decided to rest there.     I don't know how many hours it took me to shower, but when I came out, the two were already dressed. Molly invited us to eat because we haven't had breakfast yet and went straight here.        The food was good. I chose what food I eat because I am allergic to seafood. I almost forgot about my allergies because of almost eating oysters.       Time passed quickly. It was already afternoon so I thought of inviting Moli and Jill to go jet skiing. They agreed and decided to do what we used to do. We walked towards the sea and played a racing game. As we used to do, who

CHAPTER SIX

After the embarrassment that happened to me yesterday I never saw Caleb again, which I am also thankful for because I don’t know if I will ever have a face to face with the man. I just accused one of the most famous billionaires in the world.   “Tati, come on hurry up! The yacht that we’re going to ride will depart at any moment. We might be left behind! "I heard Moli call me.   “Molly, I’m still blowing my hair!” I said.   “What?! Why didn't you do that earlier!? Come on, just do it later,” she said in an annoyed voice.   I rolled my eyes on her then breathed deeply. “Ugh! Fine! I will just continue this later on the yacht!”   “Molly? What’s taking you to stay there for so long? Is Tatiana not finished yet?" I heard Jill ask. I just rolled my eyes and then stood up.    When I came out, I saw that Jill was very bored waiting for us. “Where's Molly?” he a

"Tatiana." I jumped in shock when someone called me and even touched me. I looked at it annoyed and was ready to scold him but I was shocked to see who it was.   “Na--nana?”  I asked in disbelief. She nodded tearfully and then took a step between us to hug me. Shocked and tearful, I was still able to hug her back.   "Tatiana, my little girl!” she said and hugged even tighter. "You're so big now! How are you, dear? We haven't seen each other in years," she cried and then looked at me from head-to-toe.   “I'm good, Nana. I’m so glad that you're now back again. I thought I'll never see you after Auntie fired you,”  I said as we walked inside the Casa.   "I came back two years ago. I thought I would see you again but you left,” she said sadly. My mouth opened but no words came out of it.   "Why did you leave, anyway?” she asked. I averted my eyes and sat on the sofa even th

CHAPTER EIGHT

“Wait, he did what!?” Moli asked in disbelief. I looked at her with an obvious look on face. “He f*cking claimed my position as a CEO of AT Printing Company,” I said and sat beside her. “Wait, why would he do that?” She asked. I shrugged. “I—I don't know as well, do I look like I have an idea?” I said sarcastically. I called her when I got home from the company. I also told her what had happened to the company. I just begged her not to tell Jill that there might be another argument between them and that man. “But seriously, I think it's a sign for you to focus on yourself more,” she said. “No, how about the people that he fired?” I said, “I can not just eat peacefully, sleep peacefully and go to vacations, when there are people who lost their job. They are still under my company after all,” I said, and she nods. “Yeah… maybe you should—” “Maybe you should stop suggesting things that will not help me at all, Moliana.” I

Later on I heard him talking. "Hello? Yes, it’s Jill Anderson. My friend here is having a hard time breathing and then she passed out," he said. I slowly open my eyes a little. “Tati, hold on, they’re on their way,” I heard him said in a worry. I didn't passed out. I just fake that I'm

I woke up panting and gasping for air. What the fuck is the meaning of that!?I looked at my side where my mirror is placed. I am sweating profusely and running out of breath. I dreamed of it again. I thought I totally forgot about it, but I'm wrong — we're wrong. When I came back, I also dreamed about it because I saw him. And now that I want to meet and talk with Jackson, I dreamed of it again. When would it end? Would it even end or itis really endless just like what that shaman said?Even though I was shaking, I was still able to call Molly. After a few rings, she immediately answered it. [“Hey…”] she said, her voice is raspy. Probably, sleeping but I called. [“Who's this?”]“Molly," I called her, and she just hummed as an answer. "I… I dreamed of it a-again,” I cried.[“Huh?
