SAGE'S pov

"Good day ma'am, the boss asks that you come with me immediately," Justin informed with a slight bow.

Justin was my father's butler, but he shouldered more than what a butler would do. He was the only one my parents could send for such a secretive and urgent matter.

I turned to Violet, and she gave me a courageous nod in response.

No words were needed. She knew that I was going in for questioning, and the nod was to encourage me to face them.

Justin stepped aside, still slightly bowed. He gestured towards the car parked right before the entrance, and I walked to it without arguments.

Maybe it was time to let the cat out of the bag once and for all. I sighed and fixed my gaze outside the window of the car.

"Would you like some music ma'am?" Justin asked with a light smile
