Chapter 4

Derek wakes up early in the morning the next day ,his company calls him and let's him know about an emergency that required him to be there as the boss. Hello sir there is a company here with a few vehicles and the director wants to talk to you,ok tell him I will be there in a second Derek says as he rushes to the bathroom to take a shower.Diana notices that Derek is a bit late and takes out the clothes he should wear and gets everything else ready for him.She starts the car ,polishes his shoes ,and gets food ready .As Derek leaves the bathroom and noticing that everything is ready he gets so happy hugs Diana and kisses her thank you so much Derek says as he puts on his clothes and puts on his shoes Diana Hell's him out with the tie ,after dressing up he goes to the table where Diana had served an appetising breakfast ,his favorite he couldnt get enough of kissing her .You are such a lovely wife ,I am so luck Derek says as he starts digging in his food.He eats as quick as he can so he doesn't disappoint the customer luckily he manages to get to work in time .

Lucinda wakes up way later goodmorning mum,Lucinda says as she reaches for the eggs her dad had left .Morning Lucinda you slept well? Diana asks.Has dad left already she asks ,yes he was a bit late though but I am sure they will understand.This is so nice mum as she kept eating until she finally finished the eggs .Daren is still asleep he slept so late last night playing games .Mum are we going to collect my results today,yes after your dad gets home.Lucinda goes to the livingroom where her phone was charging, she starts playing games.Meanwhile Diana goes to the bathroom to take a quick shower she has to report to work in the afternoon ,after she is done she gets her things ready ,hey Lucinda I will be leaving early today I have to pass through the bank.Ok mum see you later I will be home watching TV all day.After he r mum left she decides to go outside and water the flowers.

She takes a bucket and goes outside with a bucket full of water,as soon as she steps out,a neighbor Mrs Ney was busy with her flowers too.Good morning ma'am Lucinda says ,morning Lucinda how are you?when did you come back.I am ok ma'am she smiled I came back yesterday oooh how is work?Work is fine thank you.Lucinda is one of the people who don't like sharing their life activities, she carries on watering her flowers and plugs in her earphones and starts singing loudly.Mrs Ney's son comes out with a bottle of water in a T-shirt and shorts good morning mum ,morning Dray how are you?I am fine mum wanna do my workout outdoors today.Its ok let me go inside and clean the house Mrs Ney goes in and closes the gate .

Dray starts working out he only notices there is a girl nextdoor watering flowers who is singing so loudly and seems to enjoy doing her work .Goodmorning Dray says but gets no response he then decides to get as close as possible.Goodmorning neighbor he says again once he gets too close to her,as soon as Lucinda notices a shadow she moves away and plugs out her earphones .His may I help you?my name is Dray I am Mrs Ney's son you are?I just came to say hie,ok I really appreciate that Lucinda says .I really don't like talking to strangers I am sorry but I am not really a stranger am I ,if you can talk to my mum I am sure you can talk to me too.How do I know you are Mrs Ney's son well I thought you noticed I came out of her gate besides that I was talking to her .

Well I am not so good at noticing things I just focus on my own things ,well looks like you just unique and different Dray says as he is thinking of getting to know more about her .Dray is really liking her for her ignorance but it was a different situation for Lucinda as she was really hoping he would move away.Would you like to workout with me someday since you stay so close to me,I do this almost everyday and alone I would really appreciate having a partner.I am not a fan out working out Lucinda says as she plugs in one of her earphones and starts waltering her flowers she is really getting annoyed but Dray though he was a handsome guy with a great body non of that really changed her attitude towards him.Lucinda never liked guys since high school she was a loner she never had any friends she believes its the people you bring into your life that end up disappointing you,well thats something she only believed not that she had been disappointed before.Dray has interest in her no matter how she tries to avoid him he never stops asking questions.

So since you not going to tell me your name I will give you my own until I get to ask my mum for your name he says smiling and Lucinda keeps her head down and pretends she did not hear a thing he said .Well do what you think is going to help you she says still with her head down.Are you always like this or something is wrong Dray asks but Lucinda is fed up with him ok you know what I think you should do your workout and leave me to water my flowers in peace she finally stands up and looks straight at him frowning.Ok ok I heard you we will talk next time when you cool down Dray says as he moves away from her.A few minutes later Charlene and Cherise from the neighborhood pass by they see Dray working out and decide to talk to him they approach him with smiley faces they are actually interested in him anyone can see that .Hey Dray they both smile at him ,hey girls how are you doing? We good how are you?I am alright.Do you always work out out of the yard?Cherise asks yes I do mostly but cause I am always working out alone I decide to do it outside where people are always passing.You really have a great body they said smiling at him again so they could get his attention which was given to Lucinda who does not want to bother listening to whatever is going on the other side. What's her name Charlene asks Dray ,I don't know she doesn't normally talk to strangers but you not a stranger you a neighbor .Yeah I know she also doesnt talk to neighbors they all stare at her ,the girls actually getting jealous with the way Dray looks at Lucinda.

Hey Dray can we workout with you if you don't mind Cherise says getting too close to him but Dray moves away from her ,no problem as long you won't cause any problems he says.When can we start the girls get close to him but still Dray resists them,anytime you ready let me know now let me get back to my workout girls ok they say as they move away from him.
