Chapter 3

Mrs Klein and Lucinda are busy sitting and talking whilst watching TV ,they talk for hours until Lucinda's parents arrive to take her home .As she hears the car wheels outside she stands up and runs outside to check if its them and its them ndeed.Hey mum ,she hugs her tightly. Hey Lucinda you alright ,yeah I am ok mum .Hey dad ,hello Lucinda are your bags ready her dad asks her .Everything is ready where is Daren she asks her mom well we left him next door with his friend.Let me go and collect the bags Lucinda says as she goes into the house to get the bags ready.Mrs Klein walks out to the car where Diana and Derek were,goodmorning mrs Klein says smiling ,good morning ma'am how are you Derek replies.I am good thank you ,I see you have come to collect my best friend they all smile well so sorry for taking your best friend away Diana replies.She been complaining almost everyday about the job and I been telling her it would get better but looks like it got worse and I am proud of her though.If a job does not make you feel comfortable why must one stick around.

I believe she will get a far much better job than working at a supermarket mrs Klein said.Well thank you so much mrs Klein I really hope so too Diana says as she helps Lucinda pack the bags in the back seat.We really missed you Diana smiled at Lucinda.This is a young generation I support their decisions she made a great decision though just keep supporting her until she gets a job she is comfortable with Mrs Klein says as she walks back in the yard.After Lucinda was done collecting her bags she goes back to clean the room,sweeps it and wipes the floor after she is done she looks for mrs Klein who is sitting behind the house now sunbathing. Mrs Klein ,Lucinda calls out ready to leave yes Lucinda I am at the back of the house she walks there and thanks her again for giving her a house to stay and being so nice to her.You are most welcome Mrs Klein replies and walking starts walking Lucinda to the gate.

After a few minutes of thanking and appreciating ,Lucinda and family take off.On their way home they pass through town Lucinda still has some cents from her last salary she decides to spoil her best parents at Louis Restaurant. Derek looks for a packing but the packing is way full he looks around until he see a space on the opposite side he then drops Diana and Lucinda and drives around to park on the space. He makes sure the car is locked and the windows closed he would never make such a mistake and leave the car unsafe. He then walks out and walks towards the Restaurant where Diana and Lucinda were already sitting comfortably waiting for him.As he enters the Restaurant Lucinda is so excited to hand him the menu.Before he even sat down he was already holding a menu from Lucinda's hands.What are we having Derek asked staring both at Lucinda and Diana.Well its still early I want strong breakfast Diana says.They all place their order and they have their food quietly, Lucinda has Daren in mind she calls put for the waiter and asks for a take away of fresh chips .Derek and Diana looked at each other with amazement, she is really a great sister Diana said to Derek .

After finishing the meals an hour later they decide to sit outside on the chairs sat for fresh air blowing from the east they also grab drinks and continue enjoying their day.Lucinda is spending so much money on her family cause she is everything she got.They mean so much to her all she wants is to see all of them happy.After spending half the day outside the restaurant they then decide to go home Daren was next door at it was getting late.They walk to the car and Derek spots a young boy trying to break into the car with a knife.Hey he shouts and runs to the car ,get away from there but he can't pass cause the robot is flushing green and there are whole lotta cars passing by.The boy is trying to be fast as he notices that the owner of the car is blocked by cars ,unfortunately he manages to open and grabs two phones that were on the front seat and begins to run away on the opposite direction.Once Derek got a chance to pass he ran after the boy for so many kilometres until he caught up with him.Took him back to the car where had stolen the phones and took him to the police station which was just a few metres from the Restaurant.

Good evening sir Derek says to the man at the reception in uniform evening sir how may i help you the policeman replies,attending to the matter I have come to report a crime found this young man stealing and breaking into my car and he stole two phones I had to run after him to get my phones back.A very tall man walks in and goes straight to the reception and asks have you attended to him already pointing at Derek ,yes sir I have .Hello sir I am sergeant John how may we help you today Derek starts telling the same story to the sergeant, John calls for Lloyd one of the policeman who was at the back please take this boy to the back and teach him some manners .He grabs him and takes him to the back Derek is satisfied and happy that he is going to pay for making him run after him until he couldn't breath.Derek thanks the sergeant and walks out to the car one of the windows was broken .They drive off and get home way late ,Daren is already waiting on them outside seems like they had taken keys with them.Hey baby Diana says smiling as she notices  that Daren is freezing get in the car Daren slowly stands up and gets in the car ,I am hungry he says reaching for Lucinda's shoulder .Lucinda did not take a minute to reach out for the take away she bought for him and hands it to him smiling.

Daren is alive now and all excited he opens it and hugs her welcome home everyone laughs cause a minute ago its like he did not notice his sister came home.Its time for my favorite soapie Lucinda had missed on a whole lotta soapies she enjoyed before she left home,she begins removing her bags from the car and take them to the house cause its only a few minutes before her series begins.After she is done removing the bags with the help of Daren they all go nside the house and turned on the TV.No one is complaining about hunger everyone is so full for the rest of the day,hey mum its Generations its on now ,Diana forms to the living  room in a hurry so she will not miss any part of it.Derek are the  windows closed Diana asked handing him the car keys ,let me go check I will be back y'all better tell me the parts I miss he smiles as he goes outside.After a few minutes he comes in a hurry what did I miss Derek says staring at Daren ,hey dad don't worry I put it on pause did not want you to miss out on anything.Everyone is happy they decide to watch TV till late but Derek has to wake up early for work the next day ,goodnight everyone I have to rest now as he kisses Lucinda and Daren on the cheeks goodnight dad the children said.
