Diana couldn't sleep.

She didn't know if it was guilt eating her up or simply because she was overthinking things.Hailey's frail body fainting and falling in Edwards' arms kept on replaying in her mind.She finally sat up on bed by dawn and walked up to the table for a glass of water.She wondered how Hailey was doing. She toppled unto the comfy couch, her eyes shimmering with tears and loneliness in her bitter heart.

Did she do the wrong thing? Hailey would probably hate her now. And to make it all worse she wouldn't be around to defend herself against Stephanie's vile claims and lies. Even if she decides to return to Chicago, would anyone believe her? Lilian is dead and no one knows of Stephanie's threat to her life. She was in a dilemma and a very bad one.
