Chapter fifty nine

ARIANA’s POV…..

The spoon fell to the ground the moment Nikki came and turned the television to the news.

“This is absolute nonsense, it’s not possible!” She said and I didn’t even know what to think. One part of me wanted to believe that it was all a lie and wasn’t true but the other part was giving me the iffy vibes.

Ignoring her screams about Tanya, his assistant who claimed to have being assaulted and Raymond being innocent, I picked my spoon, acted like I didn’t hear what she was talking about and continued to eat.

I heard Nikki give that “are you serious?” sound as she walked to me and took the spoon from me. I knew where she was headed and I didn’t think I was ready for it so I just looked away and acted like I didn’t know what was going on.

“I think I need to use the restroom “ I told her as I got up and made to leave but she held on to my hand, turning me to herself.
