Chapter 182

Kira was my sister and even though she had done a lot of bad things in the past, I didn’t want to suspect her but then, she was giving me no reason not to suspect her.

I took a deep inhale as I stared at her nervously chop the carrots. It had being two days since that incident at the restaurant happened and it was only today that I decided to confront her about it. “Are you sure, Kira?” I asked her and she chuckled again, more nervously than she looked.

“I’m sure, why are you doubting me?” She asked me and I swallowed as I nodded.

I wanted to trust her, I really did but then I just couldn’t. I took a deep inhale as I smiled at her. “I trust you, Kira. If you say you don’t know anyone named Josh, I believe you don’t.” I told her as I walked back upstairs.

The only reason I had asked her that question was because that day, in the restroom, the first thing I’d heard that person say was Josh and if she was that person, she had to know someone named Josh.

I tucked my hair behind my ear.
