Chapter 22- What the hell is that
The pride in Jake's face could not be missed, the way he was looking at his mate was like it was the first time seeing her, he looked amazed by her and happy at the same time. Mama Jayce came in panting and stood at the doorway catching her breath. She frowns when she saw Eric dancing there like a fool.
“I felt her energy, what is going on?” she asked, Eric, turned to look at her with that stupid grin on his face making Mama Joyce’s frown deepen. “Why in the hell are you dancing around like a monkey for?” she asked, and Eric chuckled.
“You know, things have been so bad in this pack that seeing a person happy is like a crime or some foreign thing people don’t know of. I am happy Mama Joyce, and you know why?” mama Joyce clicked her tongue and turned to Jake. Sandra was laughing on the side but trying not to show it.
