Chapter 28- I will have to refuse

Early the following morning Jake, Sandra, their gamma, and guards were on the road to the royal palace. The ride was silent, and Sandra fell asleep again the moment they got into the car. They left the pack at four in the morning and Sandra was still sleepy. “I am still wondering why we have to be there a day early.” Said Jake, he informed his gamma and beta about it then they got back the previous night.

“I was wondering the same thing.” Silence again after that with each one deep in their thoughts. “Maybe they want you to be one king’s man and that is why you must be there early. Be introduced and informed of your duties as a king's man.” Jake knew of the kings’ men but has never met one.
