Zeke's POV

As Kamille rushed out, I couldn't help but chuckle at her sudden exit. Moments later, Fletcher walked in, and I sat up.

His expression is grave but composed. The news he brought was a mix of relief and lingering tension.

"Brother, I see you're in good spirits," He said as he walked in.

"Well, what can I say?” I replied, as I rolled my eyes at the mischievous smile Fletcher had on.

“That's great news, because I have another news for you," He paused to look at me before he continued.

“Your father called," he began, his voice steady. "He's at the mansion and waiting for you, the kids and Kamille."

"Tell him we're on our way home," I replied, "but don't mention the hospital."

Fletcher nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "What's the status?" I asked, needing to know how everything was unfolding.

My mind subconsciously drifted to thoughts of Kamille, hoping she hadn't been too rattled by the events at the Manor mansion.
