CHAPTER 62. GIFT BOX

Angelina still did not release her locked gaze. Likewise, Alex did not let Angelina look away.

Realizing that Alex's gaze was increasingly making her drift, Angelina pulled her hand from the man's grip and diamonds turned her face and moved uncertainly because she was very nervous.

"I-I'll settle this by washing it," said Angelina quickly rubbish piling up the plates from their dinner.

"Hey, you haven't finished your meal, Angelina," Alex said as he tugged Angelina's wrist.

"I-I'm full," Angelina replied as she slipped her hand out of Alex's grasp. "Let me take care of this."

Angelina piled them up sometimes with quick movements then walked half-run towards the sink to clean the plates they had just used for dinner.

"You should finish your food first, Angelina, don't let yourself starve again in the middle of the night like the other night," Alex said again.

"I won't go hungry because I've filled my stomach. That night was an exception because I didn't eat at all while at the restaura
