CHAPTER FIFTY THREE

Anna's Pov

For some time now, there has been calmness in the city. Work has resumed as usual and people are working freely but with caution.

My daughter's presence distracted me.

"Mom, when am I starting my dance class?"

I looked at her and saw how eager she wanted to resume again.

"Sweetheart, the city is still not okay for me to take you out. Besides, your teacher has not called me to inform me of the resumption" I said, arranging her hair.

"Okay,"

Ella walked in on us, "I think these children are tired of staying indoors, what about we take them out in the evening for a stroll, at least to feel the natural air"

"I understand you but don't know if it feels safe out there"

I stood up and moved close to the window, holding the curtain and looking through. I saw adults and children walking and talking.

"Maybe we can give it a trial this evening but we won't go far"

"Agreed"

I dismissed my daughter to go join her brother so that I could discuss it with Ella.
