CHAPTER FIFTY FOUR

Anna's Pov

I was up very early since I couldn't sleep comfortably at night. I quickly sent a message to my boss telling her that I wouldn't be able to come to work.

I prepared a hot coffee, poured it into my cup and carried it with both hands carefully.

It has been a long time since I made such hot coffee but that morning was different. I haven't been that way for a very long time.

Maybe because of what I experienced last night. I was still in my thick black jacket with my long yellow pants and a pair of black socks.

I drew the chair to the window where I could view the environment. I sank inside the chair, slipped the coffee and allowed it to hurt my throat for a while.

"Hmm, it's been a long while since I sat like this to think about a lot. I deserve this break"

My phone buzzed in my pocket. I seeped my hand and brought it out, and it was a message from my boss.
