CHAPTER FIFTY FIVE

Katherine's Pov

"Kat, you have been so moody since yesterday"

Her calm voice almost brought me to tears, "How do you expect me to be happy? When you allow dad to talk down at me"

"But you know he is right"

I stared at her for a moment and kept my cool.

"He is very pained that you couldn't get Arnold to yourself despite everything you did to Anna and making sure that she doesn't have him"

"Did you inform him that Anna has a child?"

My mother's lips was moving but I couldn't hear anything from her.

"You are yet to answer my question"

"You know your dad wouldn't be happy to hear that."

I felt irritated by that "Oh! So you don't want him to feel bad but I am the one to be blamed for everything, right?"

I stood up in anger. She held my hand but I separated mine from hers and clasped them together, staring at her.

"Who exactly do you love since you are no longer interested in Arnold?"

"Keith,"

"Who is this Keith and what do you love about him?"

"Everything Mom! He treats me better than Arn
