CHAPTER SIXTY

ZOEY

The morning light streamed into the room as I woke up, groaning against its brightness. As I turned to the side, the empty space beside me hinted that Alexei was not there for the second time today.

A smile tugged at my lips as the memories of the early morning flooded my mind – it was undoubtedly intense.

Feeling a pleasant soreness between my legs, I couldn't help but smile again. A long, soothing bath worked its magic, and I slipped into another one of Alexei's shirts, reveling in the comfortable embrace of his oversized clothing. As I stepped into the kitchen, the sight of him, shirtless and at ease, brought another smile to my lips.

Taking a moment to appreciate the view, I couldn't resist wrapping my arms around his back, feeling the contours of his muscular frame. He turned slightly, his lips finding the bridge of my nose in a tender kiss that sent my heart racing.
