The last elemental

Adrian shook his head. “I’ve never seen something like this.” He said and her breath exploded out of her chest with disappointment.

“Okay.” She pulled back but he grabbed her hand while she hurried to put out of her magic.

“But I’ve heard of it, everyone in my realm has actually. It’s like a fairytale.”

She settled in front of him, her breath quickening with excitement. “Tell me.” She said.

“It’s nothing good.” He started, a frown in his voice. “Most of the stories make mention of only the four elementals from which the lives of sorcerers was born but the more ancient books mention one more elemental, the Shadow sorcerer. She was the darkness to the light of the four elementals, the death to their life and every bit as powerful. While the elementals loved to create, she revelled in destruction and destroyed everything she touched.”
