Ditch the cradle

Freya snuck down the corridor, alerted for the umpteenth time that there was an incoming giant and she hid until the huge female figure had ambled away. Safe to say that stealth was not one of the giants’ trademarks.

She snuck onto the roof and looked around, remaining hiding behind the chimney to avoid discovery by the giants far off in the cave-houses. There were children-giants playing in the dirt and adults walking, talking, laughing. They all looked dumb, she would never have suspected them to have such ambition as to kill their leader every ten years just because she hasn’t been able to birth.

She shook her head and left, what they did to each other wasn’t her business.

She soon found Adrian after she snuck into a meeting room and hid behind a pillar. He was in the middle of the room, facing the Martoshi who was looking far from pleased and the strange creature Nehemey was there too.
