Chapter Six Alexa's POV “If you truly care about me you will not go.”“Mom!”Nora was at it again, and I felt engulfed in my own feelings. “Except you choose that strange man over me, you may leave.”“Mom that's not what I want, believe me. Alexa's POV The next day, I stepped out of my room early only to bump into a tall tanned man who seemed to pick up offense against me for bumping into him. “I'm sorry,” I said. “I was not looking where I was going properly.
