Chapter 181

“What are you trying to say?” Richard asked and walked closer to Barbara, who was now wearing a smirk on her face.

“I meant every bit of what I said. I can take you to Emily”, Barbara repeated.

Richard gulped down hard and lowered his head to the ground, silently hoping that he wasn’t hallucinating again.

However, Barbara’s gaze was fierce and unmoved. That was a clear indication that she knew what she was saying.

“Take me to her!” Richard ordered and retraced his steps back to his car.

He stopped in his tracks when he realized that Barbara didn’t move an inch from where she stood.

“Take me to Emily!” He yelled again and just as he expected, she didn’t budge.

He knew it! She wanted something, and thoughts of what it might be made his heart race.

“We need to talk, in private”, Barbara clicked her teeth and folded her hands to her chest. She was trying to point out that she was the dominant one in the present situation.

“And after we talk, you would take me to see her?” Richard asked i
