CHAPTER 79: BRUISES

Naya’s POV

I spent days taking care of Talon’s bruise. He had sustained multiple bruises from the numerous slaps that Eric gave him. I wasn’t obliged to help Talon with his bruises, but I just had to.

So, I fetched my first-aid kit and began to treat his bruises. He had hurt me badly countless times but yet I found myself still helping him out.

I ensured that I gave him breakfast, lunch and dinner for the next few days. I also made sure that he had hot baths to help calm him down. He became nicer to me because he believed that I was doing more than enough for him.

Then, I decided to do what I had in mind. I picked up my bag and headed towards Greta’s house one day.

I don’t know why, but I was sort of jealous. I needed to give Greta a piece of my mind. I didn’t care if I was about to do too much, I didn’t even care that I was jealous in a way.

Somehow, I wanted Talon to be with me and me alone.

I got to Greta’s house and forced my way into her house.
