The night breeze became more piercing as Raven, Jeremy, Lucas, and Meredith ran through the narrow alleys at the back of the campus.

Their breathing was ragged, adrenaline still ruling their bodies. The police sirens sounded closer, but somehow, it didn't make them feel safe. Instead, there was a bad feeling hanging in the air.

"We can't stop here," Jeremy said, his eyes searching for a way out.

Lucas nodded, his face tense. "If they know we have these documents, they won't stay quiet. We need to find a safe place first."

Meredith looked back, trying to make sure no one was following them. "But where? They must have sealed off the whole place. We don't even know who to trust."

Raven clenched her fists. "I know one place. But we have to hurry."

Without waiting for an answer, Raven ran first, leading them through the narrow alleys until they finally reached an old, forgotten-looking building. It was an old theatre building that was no longer in use. The wooden door creaked as they pushe

And then, everything was silent.Their breathing was still ragged. Raven wiped her cold sweat. "Did... we make it?"Lucas was still staring at the place where the shadow had disappeared. "I'm not sure. But we need to get out of here before they come back."Meredith nodded. "We have evidence. We need to find someone who can help. The police, another professor... anyone we can trust."Jeremy grabbed his mobile phone. "We can't wait any longer. They'll come again."Outside, the sky was beginning to change colour, indicating that dawn was almost here. However, they all knew... this wasn't over. This was just the beginning of something much bigger. And they had no choice but to keep going. The morning breeze began to pick up as Raven, Jeremy, Lucas, and Meredith left the old theatre.Their breathing wa

The steel door shook, the thumping sound from outside grew louder. The shadows were still trying to get in, but so far the protection in the basement was holding."We have to find a way to destroy them," Graham said, his face tense.Lucas sighed loudly. "Great. We run, we hide, but they always find us. Can we really win?"Meredith looked down at the document she was still holding. "They're afraid of this. We need to find a way to use the information here more effectively."Jeremy kicked an old chair nearby. "I can't go on like this. It feels like we're just waiting to be captured or worse..."Raven put a hand on Jeremy's shoulder, trying to calm him down. "We can't give up. We've come this far. If we can find more information, we might be able to stop them."Graham closed his book and nodded. "All right. Tonight we stay here. Tomorrow, we'll find out more. We need to stay alive and uncover the truth."The morning sun streamed through

After class ended, they left with mixed feelings. Meredith still felt uneasy, but the others seemed to be trying to enjoy their day as much as possible. "Let's go to the campus café first, shall we?" Maya suggested. "I need coffee to get my brain working again after that 'invisible energy' discussion." Lucas raised his hand. "Agreed! I'm almost out of energy." They walked together to the café located in the centre of the campus park. It was always crowded, filled with students chatting, working on assignments, or relaxing after class. The smell of coffee filled the air, mixing with the sound of laughter and the clinking of spoons in cups. Meredith took a seat by the window, letting the sunlight shine on her face. She needed a moment to calm her mind. However, as she looked out, her eyes were glued to something-the shadow of someone in the distance, standing near the library building. The man was dressed all in black, silent and motionless as if watching them. "Mer, your d

Meredith and Raven glanced at each other before going deeper into the bookcase aisle. And that's when they saw it.On one of the hidden shelves in the corner of the library, there was a dusty old book with a barely legible title. Meredith rubbed the cover, then read it quietly."Residual Energy Phenomena and Astral Traces on the Lorywood Campus."The name of their campus.Meredith's heart was pounding. What exactly was going on in this place?Meredith and Raven exchanged glances. The book before them seemedF to pulsate, as if it held something more than a simple academic text."Let's take this," Meredith whispered."Wait," Raven held up her hand. "If this is an old book, there must be a reason why it's kept on a hidden shelf."Meredith sighed and loo

Meredith locked her phone and took a deep breath, trying to shake off the uneasiness that was creeping into her mind. Not now. She didn't want to ruin this moment.Raven noticed her movement and whispered, "We'll talk about this later, okay? We need to keep it casual."Meredith nodded slowly. She decided to keep her suspicions to herself for the time being and let herself enjoy the atmosphere of the afternoon. On the court, Lucas and Jeremy were still busy competing one-on-one in their little basketball game. Maya laughed at Jeremy's attempts to get the ball in accurately."You should learn from me," Maya said while eating her ice cream casually.Jeremy snorted. "Oh yeah? Want to prove it?"Maya smiled a challenging smile. She stood up, grabbed the ball, and in one seemingly effortless motion, threw it towards the hoop. The ball travelled in a perfect traject

She turned her head and saw Raven, who was now sitting next to her sipping a cold drink.Meredith looked at the students cheering for their favourite team. "We used to be all scared, wondering what the hell was going on in this campus. Now look at us... everyone's happy, as if there was never anything terrible before."Raven was silent for a moment, then shrugged. "Maybe this is a good thing? Maybe this campus does need something to distract from all that tension.""But..." Meredith bit her lip. "Don't you think this feels... strange? Like something is just erasing our fears?"Raven looked at her deeply, then smiled a little. "Mer, sometimes humans would rather forget than remember. Who wants to live in constant fear?"Meredith wanted to argue, but Raven had a point. After all, it felt good to see everyone laughing again, without anxiety or paranoia. From the field, Jeremy waved at them. "Hey! Are you guys just there? Come on down, we need s

Mornings on the Lorywood campus are back to business as usual-or at least, that's how it seems. After a festival full of excitement, students went back to their routines. Some are still discussing the excitement of the night, especially the inflatable sumo fight between Ben and Jeremy that has now gone viral in the campus group.Others are busy with practice for the approaching sports competition. In between all that, Meredith tried to convince herself that everything was okay. That all the weirdness she felt was only in her mind. That the man in black she kept seeing was just a figment of her imagination."Of course everything is fine," she murmured softly, more to herself than anyone else. But the strange feeling remained. That afternoon, Meredith, Maya, Lucas, and Raven were g

"They're already here..." muttered Valtorius in a deep voice that was almost a whisper, but still clearly audible amidst the chaos.A loud knock echoed from the room's door, not just any knock - more like a heavy blow that nearly cracked the wood. And the voice returned, calling out in a hoarse, threatening tone."Elara... Elara Blaise... You can't hide forever..."Raven's blood rushed. That voice... too real, too close. She could feel the coldness of every syllable summoned by the figure out there. Not only that-there was something inside her that trembled violently, responding to the call in a way she could not understand.Professor Valtorius stepped forward, raising his hand. Ancient symbols glowed in the air, forming a layer of protection around them. "Listen to me, Raven," he said firmly. "You must endure. Don't let them get inside your mind."But that's easier said than done. The door rumbled again. This time, the sound of wood cracking could be heard so clearly. A strange light

Raven's grip on her pendant tightened. She didn't. She didn't know them. She didn't want to go with them. But before Raven could say anything- DUARRR!!!A powerful explosion shook the university. The sound of shattering glass and loud screams mixed together. From outside, a blood-red flash of light split the night sky. That sound... that scream... Raven felt her body tremble. Something terrible was happening outside. Something related to her. Meanwhile, the first black-robed creature smiled faintly. "Look, Elara... it all started again."And in an instant, darkness engulfed the room.Darkness devoured the room in an instant. Raven could not see anything. Her breathing was ragged, her palms cold and clammy with sweat. Her body trembled not only from fear, but also from the strange feeling that was slowly running through her.A subtle whisper swirled in her head, like a voice coming from a distance. "Elara... the time has come...""Don't listen to them!" P

Professor Valtorius moved quickly, pulling Raven behind him."They won't let us go, even if you surrender," he said, his voice sharp. "Get ready, Raven. This isn't over yet."And as the mist swirled again, the creatures began to advance-The battle was inevitable. The fog grew thicker. A low rumbling sound could be heard in the distance, like something was moving closer. The creatures in the darkness were no longer just lurking-they began to step into the light, revealing their forms. Raven held her breath. The figures were tall, thin, with black eyes that shone in the darkness. Their skin looked like flowing shadows, changing shape with their steps. The whispering voice continued, echoing inside her head. "Elara... we've been waiting for you... Come back with us..."She felt her heart beating faster and faster. "Professor," she whispered in a trembling voice. "What are they...?" Raven and Professor Valtorius immediately turned towards the source of the voice. "What?" Professor Valtorius narrowed his eyes. "She... she was kidnapped! We saw a black shadow dragging her into the portal!" the student said under his breath. Instantly, Raven's blood froze. Sister Helena...The woman who had always been there for him, who helped him from his first day at York University... Kidnapped? By whom? By Ilyana? Without thinking, Raven clenched her fists. Enough was enough. She could not keep running away from this reality. If it was true that she was Elara Blaise... If it was true that she was the last descendant of the Blaise family... Then it was time for her to face her destiny. She turned to Professor Valtorius, her eyes full of determination. "Tell me, Professor. How can I save Sister Helena?" Professor Valtorius looked at her for a moment before finally smiling a small smile. "Now you're ready." Somewhere, deep in the darkness... Sister Helen

The air around Bastion Blaise was still filled with the remnants of the mysterious figure's presence. The dense scent of mist mixed with the aura of magic that had not completely dissipated. Raven stood stiffly, her hands still gripping the pendant around her neck tightly. Professor Valtorius looked at her with a serious expression. "Are you alright?" Raven swallowed. Her heart was still beating fast, and the fear that had been holding her back was slowly turning into something else. Anger."What the hell is going on?!" her voice raised, her eyes looking straight at Professor Valtorius. "Why are they calling me Elara? Why do they want me back?" Professor Valtorius paused for a moment, as if carefully composing his words. "Because you are one of them, Raven." Raven shook her head. "No, I'm not. I don't belong to anyone! I just want to live a normal life. I never asked for any of this!" Suddenly, the wind picked up, shaking the ruins around them. It was as if the world was

Raven's heart sank. She wanted to run, wanted to scream, but her body felt rooted to the spot. The figure stepped closer. Black energy enveloped her body, creating a dark mist that swirled around her. Raven felt something tug at her chest-the pendant around her neck began to throb. And then, something even more terrifying happened. The pendant began to glow. The once faint silver glow turned bright, emitting a shimmering blue light that broke the darkness. The black-robed figure stopped his steps. It hissed, its hoarse voice like a dry twig breaking. "Do not fight your destiny, Elara.""You are the key we have been waiting for."Raven shook her head strongly. "I'm not Elara! I'm not part of this!" But before she could retreat, suddenly... GRRRAKKKK!The figure's hand shot forwards, trying to grab Raven- But before its horrible fingers could touch her skin, Professor Valtorius swung his staff."Exuro!"A wave of golden light exploded from the tip of his staff. BRAK!A loud noise from outside the door made them both flinch.Raven turned her head with her heart racing.Someone... or something... was out there.Professor Valtorius' eyes narrowed. With a quick movement, he grabbed the long staff hanging on the wall, its tip shimmering as energy began to gather around it."Raven, stay behind me.""What's going on?!" whispered Raven, her voice barely audible.Professor Valtorius did not answer. He just stared at the door which began to tremble softly... as if something was trying to get in.And just then, a strange whisper came from behind the door."Elara Blaise..."Raven's blood froze. They knew her name. They really wanted her."Elara Blaise..."The whisper came from behind the door.Raven froze. It was not a human voice.
