Four Seals Fate

Delphine is kept close to Tiberius after he gathers her from the attempted escape. It wounds him, ever so slightly, at the thought of his songbird fleeing from him. He’s been searching for her for years and he isn’t about to let her go now. Tiberius knows her family, the Polluxs, who are powerful old money that place a lot of stock on heritage. On stock. Tiberius didn’t have a chance at competing for their only daughter’s hand when he first presented.

They had picked some geezer with a lecherous gaze, but apparently good genes for breeding. Tiberius wanted to run with her right then and there, but she did it herself. Fled just like she had tried to, tonight, but this time Tiberius had been prepared. Julian, her closest friend, has zero volume control and isn’t very aware of his surroundings. Marie the overworked manager all too eager to help in exchange for the money to retire and live comfortable for the rest of her days. And Marcus? The secondary Alpha put up no fight the moment his mate was threatened.

Tiberius tucks her under his arm even as she quietly cries because of him, but she’ll see soon enough that they are meant to be. Delphine is an Omega of the ages, unparalleled in beauty and skill, no one can compare to her- not to him, at least. She is the first Primary Omega to be born in the last 30 years, all else have been Betas and even some Alphas submitting to the role of Omega. Hardly the same.

Which is why Delphine’s parents put so much stock on her marriage. Only an ideal Alpha could have her, but the Alpha they chose was hardly ideal. A man named Corvus, old money like the Polluxs, and a woman beater to boot. Rumors though they were, Tiberius is still disgusted by the Polluxs choosing such a despicable man. Rumors always have a kernel of truth.

“I’ve been searching for you, Delphine,” Tiberius holds her more securely and he doesn’t like the way her watery grey eyes look at him. Fearful. “The moment your parents announced you to the world, their Wisteria. They were smart not to use your first name during that.”

He sighs as she sniffles, “Don’t be so upset now, I’m glad you fled the pathetic excuse of an Alpha, of a man, they were going to marry you off to. I’m not happy you tried to flee from me too. We are meant to be and I’ve known it since I caught your scent. When I heard to a rare beauty in an archaic corner of the world with the voice of an angel- I just knew it was you.”

“W-why me,” her voice is still sweet even after all her sobs. “I just want to be free.”

“There is no such thing as free in this world, but I promise to give you whatever your heart desires. I only ask you stay by my side,” Tiberius wants to make her understand how they’re made for each other, but he doesn’t know how. “You’re my other half, your wolf cries for mine as mine does for yours.”

“No! No, I will not belong to anyone. I want to sing and-nd be my own person,” Delphine tries to pull away, but he holds tight. He’ll never let go now that he has her. “We’re not mates! I don’t want one. I don’t want you.”

Something in him snaps at those words and he’s forcing her beneath him in the backseat of the SUV they’re in. Tiberius barely tempers the snarl rising in his throat at her frightened expression. Still Delphine doesn’t break or give in and plead. Tiberius knows without a shadow of a doubt that they are meant to be one. He slides between her legs and her breath hitches, the sound drives him wild.

Tiberius keeps Delphine pinned as he kisses the inside of one of her knees before kissing the other. He’s glad she’s the kind of person who lives in skirts and dresses, it makes access to her bare skin that much faster. Her hands fly down to push at his face as Tiberius advances up her thighs yet he is undeterred. Delphine tugs hard at his hair while trying to wiggle out from underneath him as he presses a slow, heated kiss to the apex of her legs.

Even just the smell has Tiberius feeling feral, but he pulls up to gaze back at Delphine’s face. She is horrified, she is frantic, and he wants to devour her. Tiberius kisses her with heat, forcing his tongue into her mouth at her gasp of surprise. He wants her, he wants every piece of her. It takes all of Tiberius’ control to pull and even more to not ravage her right now at her disheveled look.

“Do not hate me, Delphine,” Tiberius whispers into the charged air. “I want to give you the world because you are my world. Don’t ever leave me, please never leave me.”
