Chapter 116: Purity and rebirth

Arya’s POV

I, for one wouldn’t have cared if he came to pick me in the past but this times it’s different. My conversation with Alison played a big role in my refusal but that wasn’t close to the main course. Nicklaus agreement to some space has been my biggest achievement in my mission, now all I have to do is find a way to extend it until it becomes permanent. And I’m well aware that just mere associating with Lucious would pose a threat to my plans.

Even with these thoughts running through my head I couldn’t entirely escape Lucious involvement. Over the phone he was adamant, clinging like a bee to honey but so was I. I can’t let my efforts be in vain, so in the end he agreed not to pick me up, on a condition of course, and that’s for him to send a driver instead.
