Amelia

I opened my eyes to find Alexander dressed. "Are you leaving already?" I asked gruffly.

Alexander turned around, his eyes locking onto mine before he walked over to the bedside. His lips grazed my forehead in a soft kiss.

"Yeah, I am," he said. "I have to meet Charlie at the park."

"To sort out whatever it is you don't want to tell me about." My scepticism seeped into my tone.

"I'll tell you when I get back, I promise."

I hesitated, unsure if I should push further.

"Can we talk to Misty before you go?" I asked.

Alexander's brow furrowed in concern. "Don't you want to wait until after she fully recovers?"

"I want us to do it now. Besides she's already feeling better."

Alexander nodded. "Alright then. Get up let's go to her."

"Okay." I rolled to my side and managed to get out of bed with Alexander's help.

"Thank you," I whispered.

We made our way to Misty's room and knocked.

"Why are we knocking?" Alexander asked in a hushed tone.
