CHAPTER 58

Zach woke up to a bright and shiny Monday morning and could hear the TV sounds from outside the room. He sat up and saw the clock on the wall read six-thirty in the morning. His eyes then noticed his clothes on the foot of the bed, washed, dried and ironed.

Grabbing his towel, he wrapped it around his waist and walked towards the door, opening it. He saw Alex at the kitchen, frying some bacon while the coffee is being brewed in the machine. She is currently talking on her phone and he managed to hear her mentioned his sister’s name. She is already in her working clothes and didn’t seem to have noticed him, watching her from the door.

Turning back to the room, Zach immediately took a quick shower and put on the clothes that he knew she had washed and ironed for him. He went out of the room that he had been sharing with her for the past three nights and walked towards the kitchen.
